Thandile is an entrepreneur and the Group Chief Executive Officer of AlphSZ (formerly known as Sanlam Investment Management Swaziland Limited), following the recent management buy-out of the Sanlam Group, who continue to be an exclusive partner in traditional asset management. The Sanlam Group entered the Swazi market at her invitation as an empowerment transaction in 2011. AlphSZ assets under management are in the region of 2 Billion Rands.
She started her career as a lawyer with Millin and Currie, before becoming a project financier in 1997, when she joined Standard Corporate and Merchant Bank. She then become a shareholder/employee continuing to work in financial services as an investment adviser and asset manager.
She is an empowerment practitioner and specialist in the field of property and infrastructure development projects. She has been involved in major public private partnership projects in both Eswatini and South Africa, most recently, the construction of a headquarters for the United Nations Organisations and Fincorp Group headquarters in Eswatini.
